Are there surf music DVDs?

There are plenty of "bootleg" DVD-R's floating around containing amateur recordings of live bands. Ask around on the forums and make some trades.

In addition to that, there are several commercial DVD's for sale, including:

  1. The Bambi Molesters have a documentary in Croatian with English subtitles. It contains snippets of live performances and interviews with the band members.
  2. The Surf Coasters On Stage (2005?). A complete live performance in Tokyo, Japan celebrating their 10th anniversary.
  3. Satan's Pilgrims Live in Portland (2007). Footage from 2006 reunion shows.
  4. Los Straitjackets In Concert (2008). This DVD captures a 2005 gig in San Francicso.
  5. The Penetrators Declassified (2008). Compilation of performances throughout The Penetrators career with Rip Thrillby, complete with audio commentary from band members.
